Please Note
If you are planning 630 CMPT Certification, please contact the Examinations Manager if:
- You took NAIOMT 500 / 600 level (Level's I or II) courses 5 years or more prior to today's date
- You completed the older level II Certificate prior to January 1st, 2016

630 CMPT Certification
500 and 600 Level Tests and Exams
The NAIOMT 630 CMPT Certification requires the completion of all 500 and 600 Level courses, the online tests, and the 630 Oral Practical Exam.
These online tests may be taken in any order:
- 511 Lumbopelvic Spine I
- 516 Cervical Spine I
- 611 Lumbopelvic Spine II
- 613 Thoracic Spine
- 616 Cervical Spine II
- 621 Lower Extremity
- 626 Upper Extremity

730 COMT Certification
700 Level Exams
After earning your CMPT you can advance to the COMT, which requires the completion of all 700 Level courses, Written Case Presentations and the 730 Oral Practical Exam.

Costs
Online Tests
All 500 / 600 Level Online Test costs are included in the cost of the courses and there is no cost for a retake.

- 611 Lumbopelvic Spine II
- 613 Thoracic Spine
- 616 Cervical Spine II
- 621 Lower Extremity
- 626 Upper Extremity
Oral Practical and Written Case Presentations
- 630 Oral Practical - $599
- 730 Written Case Presentations - $75 each
- 730 Oral Practical - $1,250
As part of the Oral Practical Exams, there is an optional "Review & Practice Session" with faculty and examiners the day before the exam at no cost.
Grading
Test grades are:
- Pass - 70% and above
- No Pass - Below 70%
- Safety Fail – Automatic No Pass regardless of test score
The exception to the above is the COMT Oral Practical Exam:
- Pass - 80% and above
- No Pass or Safety Fail - Below 80%

Exam Retake Policy
As of March 1st, 2018, if you take one of the Online Tests that you registered for and receive a No Pass, you will be allowed to retake the test a second time without registering anytime during that weekend. If you receive a second No Pass, you will need to register again and take it on a different testing weekend.
Cancellation Policy & Failure to Submit WCP
Late cancellations disrupt the administration of the written case presentation (WCP) examination. Please submit cancellations for one or more WCP in writing to exams@naiomt.com 30 days prior to the examination deadline for WCP submission.
NAIOMT is unable to issue refunds less than 30 days prior to the exam. In the event of an illness or emergency in your immediate family, refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis. All refunds are subject to an administration fee.
If you fail to submit your WCP by the examination deadline for submission, you then forfeit your registration fee, and need to re-register and pay for a future WCP examination cycle.
Payment Policy for Oral Practicals
Payment for the 630 and 730 Oral Practical is due in full at the time of registration.
Cancellation Policy for Oral Practicals
Cancellations may jeopardize the running of the Oral Practical exam. Please submit cancellations in writing to exams@naiomt.com 14 days prior to the Exam.
NAIOMT is unable to issue refunds less than 14 days prior to the exam but we will be happy to transfer your registration to a future exam of your choice. In the event of an illness or emergency in your immediate family, refunds will be considered on a case by case basis. All refunds are subject to an Administration fee.
